A Merry Christmas Indeed!

A Merry Christmas Indeed!

If you’ve come around the office lately, you might have noticed that I’m a lot more active. My energy just keeps getting better and better. I like playing ball again. I’m barking with more exuberance! Just please…don’t comment on my weight. I’m a dog and don’t care if I’m a little chunky from all the meds I had to take. Mommy cares so I don’t have to…

Know Your Pet’s Habits…

Know Your Pet’s Habits…

I want to say thank you to everyone who prayed for me and sent loving healing energy to me. March was a difficult month because I got sick. I have an autoimmune disease where my body attacks my red blood cells called Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA). I sure gave mom a scare! Mom noticed something was not right with me early on and got me  to the vet quickly. I am happy to say that I am responding well to the medicine they gave me. Hopefully I will be okay. Keep praying for me and coming in to get hugs from me!

IT’S SPRING AGAIN!!!

IT’S SPRING AGAIN!!!

I am so excited spring is here and the time change has happened! It’s still day time most days when we get off work, and I get more and longer walks.  I love walking and sniffing my surroundings. If you have a 4-legged family member, please take them out on more walks…even if you have a back yard. My mom says it’s important for you people to get your exercise too, and the walk could help clear your head and calm your mind. I hear her tell our patients all the time that what’s going on between your ears affects your body. If there’s a lot of stress and clutter, your body will respond with physical stress. If there is calm and quiet, the body will respond in kind. I prefer when my mom is calm. Come see us soon!  BARK! BARK! BARK!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Meet Daisy, my new friend. She is the furry child of our new billing person, April. I love that she gets to come to work sometimes with her mommy.

Now for my important info for the month…HOLY COW it has been cold outside!!! Granted I wear a hairy coat, but I am in no way an outside dog. That means I get cold outside too. If you have an indoor dog and walk it as you should, please remember to put that sweater, jacket or hoodie on the one who protects and loves you.

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

Isn’t it exciting…Halloween is just around the corner. We love dressing up for Halloween here at Axis Chiropractic. Mom always dresses me up in some costume. I act like it’s annoying, but I really love the attention I get when you all come and say how cute I am and give me treats. I think I overheard mom say there might be chocolate for you people the week of Halloween and special treats for me. If you bring in your doggie, I might consider sharing.

Summer is here!

Summer is here!

I love taking walks, sniffing the flowers, and “checking the mail”.  Mom (Dr. T) and I sometimes walk to work which is so much fun.  When you walk your special companion, remember to bring water for them if it’s hot outside.  There are lots portable water bowls out there for sale.   Also, please be present with us as sometimes the ground is too hot or we are stopping for reasons important to us.  Arf!!!

One last thing…we have some of these beautiful Magnolia Park shopping bags for sale in our office for only $2 (cash only). We are peddling them for the Magnolia Park Merchants Association. Some of the merchants in Magnolia Park will offer a discount if you carry your bag with you when you shop. Go Green Magnolia Park!!!
