SPRING is officially here! I know…here in Burbank one day it feels like spring, and the next we feel smack dab in the middle of summer. One thing I have noticed is a lot of people are coming in a bit dehydrated. As the weather gets warmer and we get more active, it is very important to increase our water intake gradually. If you are thirsty, you are already showing the signs of dehydration. If you are eating adequately and appropriately, yet you continue to feel hungry, you could actually be experiencing a need for water. I know, many claim that it is a nuisance to have to go to the bathroom more often, but the body needs water, and it needs to eliminate toxins. Please consider your health and well being above convenience…going to the bathroom a few more times is far more pleasant than muscle cramps, lightheadedness, or potential illness.
